November has been a month of building, creatively, mechanically, and structurally.

Steam Cities entered a new milestone, and everything is beginning to take on its final shape.

āš™ A New Milestone for Steam Cities

We kicked off a major development phase, and progress is happening across multiple fronts:

  • Full component design in motion: food, wood, building materials, storage, scouts, trade agents, sabotage agents, all redesigned as unique, custom-shaped ā€œmeeple-styleā€ pieces.
  • City illustrations, city upgrades, and updated 3D models are actively being created and refined.
  • Animation work has begun, and the visual foundation of our Kickstarter page is now being assembled.
  • The rulebook is stabilising nicely, fewer edits, clearer structure, and stronger cohesion.
  • Blind testing has increased significantly, guiding the final adjustments to gameplay flow.
  • We’re writing, editing, and drafting what may become the final visual design of the game, including layouts, icons, and UI elements.

Our priority remains unchanged:
to enter the manufacturing-ready stage before the Kickstarter campaign begins.

We remain committed to our ambitious goal:
Only 6 months from campaign to fulfilment.
No long waits. No dragging timelines. A disciplined, predictable production cycle.
