🏗 December 2025 – Development Update

December was a strong and productive month for us.

We officially launched the Steam Cities pre-launch page and began laying the groundwork for the campaign ahead:

At the same time, we started defining milestones and developing new expansions and components, all designed with future stretch goals in mind.

We also successfully submitted our Feasibility Grant, with results expected in February.

⚙ A Major Milestone for Steam Cities

This month, our focus was on moving from vision to execution:

• Advancing toward more finalized prototypes, ready to be sent to influencers
• Defining a clear 2026 strategy and roadmap
• Writing and structuring rulebooks for expansions
• Designing and prototyping expansion components
• Increasing blind playtesting, helping fine-tune gameplay flow and balance
• Refining our publishing and Kickstarter strategy
• Collaborating closely with illustrators, graphic designers, manufacturers, and fulfillment partners
• Aligning marketing, production, and fulfillment into one cohesive plan

The goal is simple: when Steam Cities launches on Kickstarter, we want to be production-ready, not just concept-ready.

🏰 Beyond Steam Cities

December was also about growth:

• Continuing development on other titles to expand the Seven Castles Games portfolio
• Reviewing submissions from third-party designers interested in publishing under Seven Castles Games
• Preparing print-and-play releases, coming soon

December closed as strong as it began. The team took time to recharge and is now fully ready for 2026 — a year we expect to be pivotal for Seven Castles Games.

Steam Cities is coming together piece by piece, gear by gear.
The cities are rising, and new worlds are on the horizon.
